SportDOG TEK GPS tracking systems are best suited for the sporting dogs.  They are of the radio transmission type and can be used in remote areas where no cell reception is available.

The two GPS dog tracking systems that SportDOG TEK provides are the V1LT and the V1L.  Both systems can track up to 12 dogs up to 7 miles away and can store up to 20 waypoints.  The biggest difference between the 2 systems is that the e-collar that comes with the V1LT can also  be used as a training device.  You can set the stimulation range (low, medium or high) for a temperament of a specific dog.   You can set the stimulation type to continuous, momentary (nick), tone, vibration, rising stimulation & user programmable.
